This Privacy Policy describes how Good Decent People ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the Thinking mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
We may collect the following types of information:
Your conversations are private to you. Administrators cannot read, access, or review the content of your individual conversations. No other user can access your conversations, memory, or personal information through the App. Each user's data is fully isolated at the database level.
The App includes an optional Vault Mode, which provides an additional layer of privacy. Conversations and memories stored in Vault Mode are kept separate from your standard conversations and are not accessible outside of Vault Mode.
The App includes an automated safety system designed to detect signs of crisis or distress. If the system identifies a potential safety concern, it generates a brief summary of the risk assessment — not the content of your conversation — and flags it for review. This system exists solely to protect user wellbeing, and no conversation text is stored or shared as part of this process.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features; to personalize your experience through conversation memory; to monitor for user safety concerns; to send important notices about the App; and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose other than providing the service to you. Your conversations are not shared with any third party except the AI service provider (Anthropic) as necessary to generate responses, and cloud infrastructure providers who host the service.
Your data is stored using industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), authenticated access controls, and row-level database security that isolates each user's data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App uses the following third-party services to deliver its features: Anthropic (AI model provider), Supabase (database and authentication), and Voyage AI (knowledge base search). These providers process data as necessary to deliver the service and are subject to their own privacy policies.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
